My Zippo Lighter Flame is HUGE! Need it Smaller?

my brand new genuine zippo lighter i just bought today and i just filled it with zippo fluid today, is acting very weird, when i light it the flame shoots up to about 3-4 inches high and the wick is below the chimney, what do i do?
