What kind of car should a guy like me get?

im more into the import car type seen like a skyline GTR. i got inspirations from magazines and movies like fast and the furious. i thought a cheap car like a honda civic would be okay to get because its much easier to fix up since its a standard car. but from experience, i notice its not that secure and safe. My own brother's honda civic had been stolen overnight. i want a car that's cheap and easy to fix up like an import car yet protective from burglary and people stealing it. an idea given was an Acura rsx? anyone have any good ideas on such a car?
