Flash and Dreamweaver?

I want to create a flash animation that will act as a splash screen on a site created in Dreamweaver, I am going to set up a php colour changer on the HTML part of the site that automatically changes the site colour every time it is refreshed. However can I make the stage of the flash transparent? Or so it will be the same colour of the site when it changes colour?
